This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 “Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents”. This document replaces GB/T 299-2008 “Rolling bearings - Double row tapered roller bearings - Boundary dimensions”. Compared with GB/T 299-2008, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows: a) ADD the terms and definitions (see Clause 3); b) ADD the symbol and values of the contact angle of bearings (see Clause 4, Table 1 to Table 8, Table A.1 to Table A.4); c) ADD the identification code (see Clause 5); d) ADD the ISO dimension series code corresponding to the series 22 bearings (see Table 7); e) ADD the minimum single inner ring back face chamfer dimension rs min of some bearings (see Table A.1 to Table A.4). Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. Double-row tapered roller bearings are marked in the order of “rolling bearing”, bearing code and standard number. Example: A double-row tapered roller bearing, with dimension series 21 and a nominal bore diameter of 180 mm, complying with the provisions of GB/T 299-2023 is marked as: Rolling bearing 352136 GB/T 299-20237 Boundary dimensions
The boundary dimensions of bearings shall comply with the provisions of Tables 1 to 8. The meaning of ISO dimension series code shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 273.1-2023. The maximum single chamfer dimensions corresponding to rs min and r1s min in Tables 1 to 8 shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 274-2023.
