This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 “Directives for standardization - Part 1.Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents”. This document replaces GB/T 2982-2014 “Designation, dimensions, inflation pressures and load capacity of pneumatic tyres for industrial vehicles.” Compared with GB/T 2982-2014, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. - MODIFY the provisions for new tyre minimum overall width and new tyre minimum overall diameter (see Tables 1 and 3 of this document; Tables 1 and 3 of the 2014 edition); - MODIFY the valve stem model for inner tubes used in some tyres (see Tables 1 and 5 of this document; Tables 1 and 5 of the 2014 edition); - ADD the load capacity of 15 km/h drive wheel of some normal section diagonal tyres (see Table 2 of this document); - ADD the load capacity of 15 km/h drive wheel of some normal section radial tyres (see Table 4 of this document); - MODIFY the section width dimension of some low section diagonal tyres (see Tables 5 and 7 of this document; Tables 5 and 7 of the 2014 edition); - ADD the load capacity of 15 km/h drive wheel of some low section diagonal tyres (see Table 6 of this document); - ADD the load capacity of 15 km/h drive wheel of some low section radial tyres (see Table 8 of this document); - DELETE the mobile crane radial tyres (see Table 11 of the 2014 edition); - ADD the wide-base radial tyres equipped with 15° deep groove rims (see Table 12 of this document); - ADD the calculation and rounding off rules for new tyre maximum and minimum peripheral dimensions (see Annex C of this document). Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. The issuing authority of this document shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. Size designation, dimensions, inflation pressure and load capacity of pneumatic tyres for industrial vehicles1 Scope
This document specifies the representation of size designation of pneumatic tyres for industrial vehicles, as well as dimensions, inflation pressure, and load capacity requirements corresponding to the size designation of tyres.
