High Performance Liquid Chromatography
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of kojic acid and its derivatives kojic dipalmitate cosmetics.
This standard applies to the determination of kojic acid in cosmetics, and the detection limit was 0.01%, the limit of quantification of 0.1%.
This standard applies to the determination of cosmetics kojic dipalmitate, and the detection limit was 0.04%, the limit of quantification of 0.4%.

3 Determination of Kojic Acid in Cosmetics
3.1 Principle
Mobile phase - 1% aqueous acetic acid and methanol (10.90) as solvent, ultrasonic extraction, centrifugation, membrane filter of 0.45 m, the injection solution
Equipped with a diode array detector (DAD) liquid chromatography detection, external standard.
3.2 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents were of analytical grade. Water as a water GB/T 6682 regulations.
3.2.1 Methanol. chromatographically pure.
3.2.2 Kojic acid. purity of not less than 98%.
3.2.3 acetic acid.
3.2.4 1% aqueous solution of acetic acid. Take 10mL glacial acetic acid, dilute to 1000mL.
3.2.5 Mobile phase. methanol .1% acetic acid = 10.90.
3.2.6 Kojic acid standard stock solution. Weigh accurately 0.1g (accurate to 0.0001g) Kojic acid in 50mL beaker, add 1% aqueous acetic acid
After the mixture was dissolved and transferred to 100mL volumetric flask, with a 1% aqueous solution of acetic acid to volume, that was kojic acid solution at a concentration of 1000mg/L
Standard stock solution. 3-month storage seal shade.
3.2.7 standard solution. Pipette are standard stock solution (3.2.6) 0.2mL, 0.5mL, 1.0mL, 2.0mL, 5.0mL to 5
10mL volumetric flask, with the mobile phase (3.2.5) to the mark, formulated a series of concentrations of 0.02mg/mL, 0.05mg/mL,
0.1mg/mL, 0.2mg/L, 0.5mg/L of standard working solution.
