This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 29514-2013 "Technical Specifications for Steel Slag Treatment Process". Major changes compared to GB/T 29514-2013
as follows.
--- Modify general requirements and environmental requirements (see Chapter 4);
--- Improve the technical principle (see 5.1);
--- Specification of water requirements (see 4.6);
--- Increase tank hot stuffing technology (see 5.3).
This standard was proposed by the China Iron and Steel Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC183).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, technical principles, process flow, technical requirements, operation, maintenance and safety of steel slag treatment.
This standard applies to the treatment of converter and electric arc furnace steel slag.

A container for hot and self-decomposing of hot steel slag using steam as a process medium.

Roller device equipmentofrotarycylinderprocess
A revolving device that rapidly cools and shreds high-temperature steel slag by using steel balls as a process medium.

A device for granulating liquid steel slag by compressed air.
