This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaced GB/T 294-1994 Rolling Bearings – Three-Point and Four-Point Contact Ball Bearings – Boundary Dimensions; compared with GB/T 294-1994, this Standard has the following major technical changes besides the editorial modifications. --- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3); --- Added bearing codes (see Chapter 5); --- Added QJF structural types, boundary dimensions of bearings in Series-10 and Series-02 (See Table 1 and Table 2); --- Deleted the comparison between old and new bearing codes (See Appendix A of 1994 Edition). This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Rolling Bearings (SAC/TC 98). Drafting organizations of this Standard. Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Yingke Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Ningbo Cixing Bearing Co., Ltd., and Shandong Yujie Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
