This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaced GB/T 290-1998 Rolling Bearings – Needle Roller Bearings, Drawn Cup without Inner Rings – Boundary Dimensions; compared with GB/T 290- 1998, this Standard had the major technical changes as follows besides the editorial modifications. --- Modify the standard name; --- Add “Normative References” Clause, “Terms and Definitions” Clause, “Structure Type” Clause, and “Code” Clause (see Clause 2, Clause 3, Clause 5 and Clause 6); --- Add the symbol and code for the end thickness C2 of flat-bottom punched outer ring (see Clause 4 and Table 1~Table 8); --- Add two structure types and their boundary dimensions; namely, a sealed type of needle roller bearing with drawn cup and without inner ring of which one side has the seal ring; and open type of full-complement needle roller bearings with drawn cup and without inner ring (oil-fat limit) (see Figure 4, Figure 6 and Table 2~Table 5); --- Add the models and boundary dimensions for 71D, 22D, 32D serial needle roller bearings with drawn cup and without inner ring – boundary dimensions. This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Committee for Standardization of Rolling Bearings (SAC/TC 98). Drafting organizations of this Standard. Luoyang Bearing Science & Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Bearing Factory Co., Ltd., and Changzhou Dongfeng Bearing Co., Ltd.
