The State Administration for Standardization issued a statement.
Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 28253-2012 "Extrusion Taps". Compared with GB/T 28253-2012, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes.
Aside from the changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition);
b) The dimensions of the tap thread section have been increased (see Tables 1 and 2);
c) The tap type diagram has been revised (see Figures 1-3, Figures 1-3 in the.2012 version);
d) Added tap thread types (see 4.3);
e) Added marking requirements for extrusion taps (see 4.4) and changed the marking example (see 4.4, 3.7 of the.2012 edition);
f) The content regarding non-molar taps has been deleted (see section 3.4, Tables 8-10, and 5.5 in the.2012 edition);
g) Increased the dimensional tolerance limits of precision taps (see 5.2);
h) The technical requirements for taps have been changed (see Tables 9, 10, 14 and 6.11; Tables 9, 10, 13 and 5.9 in the.2012 edition);
i) Tap materials have been removed (see 5.8 in the.2012 edition);
j) A chapter on "Detection Methods" has been added (see Chapter 7).
