3 Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 28622-2012 and GB/T 34272, and the following are applicable to this document. 3.1 slide A small amusement facility composed of slide components, etc., designed for sliding and recreational purposes. [source. GB/T 28622-2012, 3.1, modified] 3.2 slide component A component with an inclined surface, consisting of a starting section, a sliding section, and a run-out section, which can guide users to slide within a designated track. 3.3 path The path leading to the starting section or platform of a slide component. NOTE. ladders, steps, stairs, climbing equipment, etc., are all considered paths. 3.4 slide component height The vertical distance from the highest point of the starting section of a slide component to the ground or supporting surface. NOTE. see Figure 1 for a schematic diagram of the slide component height. [source. GB/T 28622-2012, 3.18, modified] 3.6 roller slide A slide whose slide components are made of rollers. NOTE. see Figure 3 for a schematic diagram of a roller slide.

4 Classification and Types

4.1 Classification 4.1.1 In accordance with the shape of the slide components, they are divided into open-type and tubular-type. 4.1.2 In accordance with the sliding trajectory, they are divided into straight-type, curved-type and spiral-type. 4.1.3 In accordance with the vertical cross-sectional shape of the sliding section, they are divided into straight chutes and wave-type chutes. 4.2 Types In accordance with the classification in 4.1, typical structural types of the slide components are shown in Appendix A.

5 Technical Requirements

5.1 Basic Requirements 5.1.1 In addition to meeting the requirements of this document, the slides shall also comply with the provisions of GB/T 34272. 5.1.2 The slides shall not pose a risk of burns from high temperatures during use. 5.1.3 Bolted connections shall be able to meet the load requirements, and measures shall be taken to prevent bolt loosening. 5.2 Materials 5.2.1 Plastic parts The physical and chemical properties of the load-bearing plastic parts shall meet the requirements of Table 1. 5.2.2 Fiberglass parts 5.2.2.1 The appearance of fiberglass parts shall meet the following requirements. a) Free from defects such as poor impregnation, poor curing, bubbles, delamination of cut surfaces, and uneven thickness, etc.; b) Free from defects such as cracks, damage, obvious repair marks, exposed fabric texture, wrinkles, unevenness, and inconsistent color tone on the surface; corners shall be smoothly rounded and free of burrs. 5.2.2.2 When fiberglass parts are directly connected to load-bearing parts, they shall have sufficient strength; otherwise, metallic parts meeting strength requirements shall be pre- embedded. 5.2.2.3 The mechanical properties of fiberglass parts shall meet the requirements of Table 2. 5.3 Basic Parameters 5.3.1 Width of open-type slide components 5.3.1.1 When the slide component height is  3,000 mm, the width of the open-type slide components shall be 400 mm ~ 650 mm or  950 mm. 5.3.1.2 When the slide component height is > 3,000 mm, the open-type slide component design shall not be used. 5.3.2 Inner diameter/internal height of tubular-type 5.3.2.1 When the slide component height is  3,000 mm, the inner diameter of the tubular-type slide components shall be ϕ650 mm ~ ϕ800 mm. 5.3.2.2 When the slide component height is > 3,000 mm, the inner diameter of the tubular-type slide components shall be ϕ750 mm ~ ϕ800 mm. 5.3.2.3 When the tubular shape is non-circular, the internal height of the tube shall not be less than 750 mm. 5.3.3 Slide component depth 5.3.3.1 The depth of the open-type slide components shall conform to the provisions of Table 3.The depth of multi-chute tubular-type slide components shall refer to the relevant provisions in Table 3 for open straight-type or open curved-type. For slide components combining tubular and open types with a slide component height exceeding 3,000 mm, the depth shall be appropriately increased. ......
