1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification principles, coding rules, classification and codes of waste resources. This standard applies to waste resources generated within the territory of the People's Republic of China. This standard does not apply to hazardous waste, unsorted domestic waste, construction waste, and waste resources other than those specified in GB/T 39198. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 20861 apply to this document. 3.1 Discarded products Products that the owner of the product no longer uses and has discarded or abandoned, as well as inconsistencies arising from production, transportation, sales, and use. 4 Classification principles
