Standard Test Method for Performance
1 Scope
This standard specifies the required conditions using standard samples by loading the shear stress evaluation of adhesive tensile shear fatigue test
Test methods. Aim is to characterize the structural adhesive performance on a particular metal substrate.
Fatigue performance is a function of sample geometric distribution. It has nothing to do with the inherent characteristics of the test results of the adhesive, and can not be used for design purposes.
