1 Scope
This standard specifies the Salicaceae Salix (SalixL.) New plant varieties for distinctness, uniformity and stability test technical requirements.
This standard applies to all new varieties of plants Salix test.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and Definitions
Terms and definitions GB/T 19557.1-2004 established in applicable to this standard.
3.2 Acronyms
The following abbreviations apply to this standard.
QL --- QualitativeCharacteristics, quality characteristics;
QN --- QuantitativeCharacteristics, the number of features;
PQ --- Pseudo-qualitativeCharacteristics, pseudo-qualitative characteristics;
MG --- MeasurementforaGroupofPlants, for a group of plants or plant parts of a single measurement to obtain a single
recording;
MS --- MeasurementforaNumberofSinglePlants, for a certain number of plants or plant parts were measured
Of the obtained plurality of records;

4 DUS testing technical requirements
4.1 test material
4.1.1 Variety applicants in the time, place submission in line with the quantity and quality requirements of the test varieties of plant material. From the non-State Test
Material or regions submitted, the applicant should provide the customs, phytosanitary and other relevant documents in accordance with the relevant provisions of entry and exit and transportation.
4.1.2 Test material should be taken from the Cutting Propagation of 1-year-old main plant cuttings, cutting head diameter of more than 1cm, length 20cm; or
It is 1 year old seedlings with a good root system.
4.1.3 Number of test material cuttings of not less than 30 or 15 seedlings.
4.1.4 The test material should look robust, no pests infection, the normal growth of plants.
