This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 26089-2010 "Requirements for the Compilation of Manuals for Marine Diesel Engines". This document is in line with GB/T 26089-2010.
Compared with.2010, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Expand the scope. In addition to the instructions for use, the objects of standardization also include maintenance instructions and structure instructions (see Chapter 1,.2010

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 1883 (all parts) and GB/T 6809 (all parts) apply to this document.
4 Type and format requirements of the manual
4.1 Type
4.1.1 The manual should contain three types.
a) Instructions for use;
b) Maintenance instructions;
c) Structure specification.
4.1.2 See Appendix A for the example of the written content of the instruction manual, see Appendix B for the example of the written content of the maintenance manual, and the written content of the structure manual.

4.2 Layout
4.2.1 Language
