Foreword
This standard is identical with ISO 23794.2003 "vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber wear testing guidelines" (in English).
Chapter 2 of this standard with GB/T 2941 replaces ISO 471, ISO 4648, ISO 4661-1. GB/T 2941 is equivalent to using
ISO 23529.2004, ISO 23529.2004 at the same time to replace the ISO 471, ISO 4648, ISO 4661-1. On the technical content,
GB/T 2941 and ISO 23529, and ISO 471, ISO 4648, ISO 4661-1 no difference.
For ease of use, this standard made the following editorial changes.
a) "this International Standard" by "this standard";
b) Remove international standards foreword.
The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This standard by the national Common test methods for rubber and rubber goods Technical Committee of Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC35/SC2)
Centralized.
This standard was drafted. Guizhou Tyre Co., Ltd., Beijing Rubber Industry Research and Design Institute, Northwest Rubber Plastic Research and Design Institute.

Vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber
Abrasion Test Guide
1 Scope
This standard gives a vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber wear testing guidelines, including two dense and loose friction material.
The proposed standard is intended to help users select the appropriate test methods and criteria to be used to evaluate and assess their material production
Wear products in terms of suitability. This standard considering the impact abrasion test laboratory and actual use of the correlation between performance factors,
But it does not involve attrition test for specific research and development of rubber products such as tires trailer test.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent
Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research
Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Wear abrasion
Due to the loss caused by the friction of the surface of the material.
[GB/T 9881-2008]
3.2
Wear abrasionresistance
Resistance due to mechanical action of the material surface wear properties.
Note. The abrasion resistance of wear expressed as an index.
[GB/T 9881-2008]
3.3
Wear index abrasionresistanceindex
Than in the same specified conditions and test measurement standard rubber rubber abrasion volume loss, expressed as a percentage.
[GB/T 9881-2008]
3.4
Relative wear volume relativevolumeloss
Under the same specified conditions, so that the standard rubber to produce a fixed mass loss of friction material applied to test the rubber produced by grinding volume
Consumption loss.
4 Wear Mechanism
Wear rubber mechanism to produce motion in contact with another material is complex, but the main factors that are cut and abrasion fatigue
labor. Wear mechanism can be classified in various ways, but usually distinguish the following methods.
