3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components of the apparatus for transporting liquid.
3.2
During normal operation of the electrical component is completely or partially immersed in the liquid pump.
Note. The motor windings may be dry, soaked in oil or liquid inside the pump suction.
3.3
During normal operation the motor axis vertical, and the electrical components are not immersed in the liquid pump.
NOTE. The water level switch controllers, such as may be immersed in the liquid.
