This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 22702-2008 “Standard safety size for drawstrings on children’s upper wear”. Compared with GB/T 22702-2008, the main changes are as follows: - modified the standard’s name; - modified the scope (see Clause 1 of this Edition, Clause 1 of Edition 2008); - modified and supplemented the normative references (see Clause 2 of this Edition, Clause 2 of Edition 2008); - modified and supplemented the terms and definitions (see Clause 3 of this Edition, Clause 3 of Edition 2008); - deleted the requirements for specification of top drawstrings (see Clause 4 of Edition 2008); - modified and supplemented measurement methods and requirements for cords and drawstrings (see Clause 4 of this Edition, Clause 5 of Edition 2008). This Standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Clothing of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 219).
