This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 21458-2008 "Charts of Rated Lifting Capacities for Mobile Cranes" and is consistent with GB/T 21458-2008.
Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definitions of the terms “crane rated lifting capacity manual”, “rated lifting capacity table”, “working range diagram”, and “working area diagram” have been changed (see...).
3.1~3.4 (3.1~3.4 in the.2008 edition);
b) A general rule for the crane rated lifting capacity manual has been added (see 4.1);
c) The requirement for the number of rated lifting capacity tables has been removed (see 4.1.2 of the.2008 edition);
d) The requirements for differentiating rated lifting capacities determined under different conditions and the requirements for when the numerical column has no content to fill in have been deleted (see.2008).
Version 4.1.7);
e) Added requirements regarding boom extension modes and configurations, as well as counterweight configurations, to the rated lifting capacity manual (see 4.2.1 and...).
4.2.2);
f) The requirements for the add-on mass table, working range diagram, tilting stability, back tilting stability, and working area diagram have been changed (see...).
4.2.3~4.2.7 (4.2~4.5 in the.2008 edition)
g) Added requirements regarding the maximum support reaction force of the outriggers (see 4.2.9);
h) The requirement for illustrations and manufacturer identification has been removed (see 4.6 and 4.9 of the.2008 edition);
i) The contents of each rated lifting capacity table have been changed (see 5.1.1, 4.1.1 of the.2008 version);
j) The description of how information is displayed has been changed (see 5.1.2, 4.1.3 and 4.1.5 in the.2008 version);
k) The requirements for significant figures and units of ratings have been changed (see 5.1.3, 4.1.6 of the.2008 edition);
l) The descriptions of the additional devices and setup methods have been revised (see 5.1.4, 4.1.8 in the.2008 version);
m) The language requirements have been changed (see 6.2, 5.2 in the.2008 edition);
(n) Added requirements for the electronic publication of crane rated lifting capacity manuals (see 6.5);
o) The placement requirements for the crane rated lifting capacity manual have been changed (see 7.1, 6.1 of the.2008 edition);
p) The description of data fixation has been changed (see 7.2, 6.2 in the.2008 edition);
q) The typical location diagram of the crane's rated lifting capacity manual in the operator's cab has been removed (see Figure 1 in the.2008 edition).

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in ISO 4306 (all parts) and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Crane Rated Lifting Capacity Manual
All rated lifting capacity tables (see 3.2), work area definitions and diagrams, work range diagrams (see 3.3), permissible configurations, and warnings/precautions.
This is a compilation of items and other information provided by the manufacturer for crane operations.
3.2
Rated lifting capacity chart
Detailed description of the crane's lifting capacity and settings under specific main boom or main/auxiliary boom combinations, counterweight configuration, slewing range, and support configuration.
A table containing operation information.
3.3
working range diagram
A side view describing the height and radius that the crane can achieve under all permissible main boom or main and auxiliary boom combinations.
Note. You can also describe and warn about areas that have lost stability.
