This document replaces GB/T 21379-2008 "Classification and Coding of Traffic Management Information Attributes for Urban Roads" and GB/T 21381-
2008 "Traffic Management Geographic Information Entity Identification Coding Rules for Urban Roads". This document is based on GB/T 21379-2008 and integrates...
Compared with GB/T 21379-2008, this document differs from GB/T 21381-2008 mainly in its technical aspects, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes.
The changes are as follows.
a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);
b) The terms "location unit," "transportation facility," "key unit," and "geographic information entity" have been added (see 3.3-3.6);
c) The coding principles have been revised (see 4.2,.2008 version 4.2);
d) Added provisions for basic structure, orientation codes, and information entity classification (see Chapter 5);
e) Regulations regarding the entities responsible for traffic management on road sections have been added (see 6.1);
f) The regulations regarding the classification of road segment traffic management attributes, the structure of road segment traffic management codes, and the functional attributes and road surface of road segments have been changed.
The grade, administrative affiliation of the road segment, and the road segment's geological code (see 6.2.1~6.2.6, and 5.1, 5.2, 5.4~5.7 of the.2008 edition);

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
main lane
The middle section of the road, formed by barriers along the road direction, is a section for motor vehicles only.
3.2
auxiliary lane
The section of the same road in the same direction where motor vehicles are separated by barriers, allowing motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles to travel together.
3.3
localization unit
Geographic information entities that can indicate a geographic spatial location.
3.4
Traffic facilities
Traffic equipment used on roads for traffic management, control, information monitoring, violation monitoring, and information display.
3.5
key unit
Physical facilities along the road that have a significant impact on traffic management.
3.6
Independent natural or artificial features in the real world that share spatial location and common attributes.
