Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 20847.1-2007 "Fire Protection of Small Boats - Part 1.Boats with a Hull Length Not Greater Than 15m" and GB/T 20847.2-2013 "Fire Protection of Small Boats - Part 2.Boats with a Hull Length Greater Than 15m", is consistent with GB/T 20847.1-2007 and Compared with GB/T 20847.2-2013, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. a) Some terms and their definitions have been added (see Chapter 3); b) Requirements for cooking appliances, solid fuel appliances, and heating appliances have been added (see 4.1); c) Special requirements have been added for premises equipped with gasoline tanks and portable gasoline engines (see 4.3.2, 4.3.3); d) Increased fire safety requirements for deck windows (see 4.7); e) Increased requirements for fire detection (see Chapter 5); f) Added detailed requirements for access to deck hatches designated as fire escape routes (see 6.2.5); g) The fire extinguishing requirements for the engine and engine room have been modified (see 7.4.1, 5.3.4.1 of GB/T 20847.1-2007).
