This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document supersedes GB/T 20476-2006 "Treatment and Management of Pine Packaging Materials in Areas Affected by Pine Wilt Disease" and is consistent with GB/T 20476-
Compared to.2006, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition);
---The terms and definitions "pine sawyer beetle," "pine wood packaging materials," "heat treatment," "fumigation treatment," "microwave treatment," and "emergency measures" have been removed.
"Key Prevention Areas" (see sections 3.2, 3.3, 3.5-3.8, and 3.10 in the.2006 edition);
---The terminology and definition of "pest control treatment" have been changed (see 3.5, 3.4 in the.2006 edition);
---Added terms and definitions. "vector insect" and "infected tree" (see 3.2, 3.4);
---The chapter on "Limited Pine Wood Packaging Materials" has been deleted (see Chapter 4 of the.2006 edition);

1.Scope
This document specifies the methods and management requirements for pest control treatment of pine wood and its products in areas where pine wilt disease occurs.
This document applies to pine wood and its products in areas where pine wilt disease occurs.
Note. Pine wood mainly refers to pine logs, timber, branches, cores, boards, crushed material, and rotary-cut veneer; pine wood products mainly refer to those used for load-bearing, packaging, padding, and support.
Pine wood materials used to support and reinforce goods, such as pine boxes, wooden pallets, wooden rolls, dunnage, sleepers, and linings.

4.Processing of pine wood and its products
4.1 Heat Treatment
4.1.1 Applicable to pine boards and products of different specifications, the wood is heated to a core temperature of 65℃ or higher and the treatment is continued for 4 hours.
