Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 17728-1999 "Oil Floating Recovery Devices". Compared with GB/T 17728-1999, the only differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes.
Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.
---The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1);
---Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
---Product classifications and labeling have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.1999 edition);
---Added requirements for appearance quality and materials (see 5.1, 5.2);
---The structural requirements have been changed (see 5.3, 4.4 in the.1999 edition);
---Requirements regarding the free water content in the discharged oil, applicability, and speed regulation of the turntable (drum) have been removed (see sections 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 of the.1999 edition).

1.Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and standards for oil spill recovery devices (hereinafter referred to as "recovery devices").
Labeling, packaging, storage and transportation.
This document applies to the design and manufacture of recovery devices for floating oil products with a kinematic viscosity of 1.0 × 10⁵ mm²/s to 3.0 × 10⁵ mm²/s.
Manufacturing, testing and acceptance.

3.Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 37446-2019 and GB/T 37447-2019, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

Oilspilskimmer
Mechanical devices used to recover oil spills or oil-water mixtures from water surfaces without altering their physical or chemical properties.
3.2
floatbody floatbody
A device that provides buoyancy for equipment such as oil recovery heads, hydraulic pipes, and oil delivery pipes.
3.3
recovery rate
The total amount of oil-water mixture recovered per unit time.
3.4
Recovery efficiency
The percentage of pure oil recovered per unit time relative to the total amount of oil-water mixture.
