This standard is identical with the international standard ISO /IEC 9595.1998 "Information technology - Open Systems Interconnection - Common management information service"
Only editorial changes.
This standard replaces GB/T 16644-1996 "Information technology - Open Systems Interconnection - Common management information service definition."
This standard and GB/T 16644-1996 compared to the main changes are as follows.
a) update the standard reference documents;
b) according to the modified requirements of 6.1,6.5.2,6.5.3,7.2.5 made additional changes;
c) according to the modified requirements of 8.3.1,8.3.2,8.3.3,8.3.4,8.3.5 made additional changes;
d) Added Appendix B.
The Standard Annexes A and B are informative appendices.

1 Scope
This standard defines the application service elements (Common Management Information Service Element). Defined as GB/T 9387.4 of the OSI management framework
