This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 16417-1996 "coal washability assessment methods."
This standard compared with GB/T 16417-1996, the main changes are as follows.
--- Remove the normative references in "GB 7186-87 PREPARATION terminology" (Chapter 2 of the 1996 edition);
--- Appendix A to the informative annex (see Appendix A);
--- The A3 in "Appendix A" to "Appendix C", delete "optional curve plotted on graph paper 200mm × 200mm" (see

Evaluating coal washability method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for evaluating coal washability, naming and division level.
This standard applies to coal grain size larger than 0.5mm.

3 Evaluation Method
3.1 evaluating coal washability a "separation density ± 0.1 Content Act" (referred to as "δ ± 0.1 Content Law").
3.2 drifting test shall comply with GB/T 478 or MT/T 320's.

4 Rating naming and classification
According to the degree of difficulty sorting the coal washability divided into five grades, each grade name and δ ± 0.1 content shown in Table 1.
