Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 15903-1995 "Test Method for Flame Retardancy of Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tapes". Compared with GB/T 15903-1995, except for the following.
Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---A new chapter on "Terms and Definitions" has been added (see Chapter 3);
---The requirements for test equipment and materials for the suspension test method have been changed (see 4.2, Chapter 4 of the.1995 edition);
---The specimen preparation requirements for the suspension test method have been changed (see 4.3, Chapter 5 of the.1995 edition);
---The test conditions for the suspension test method have been added (see 4.4);
---The test procedure for the suspension test method has been modified (see 4.5, Chapter 6 of the.1995 edition);
---The methods for calculating average burn length and average burn time have been changed (see 4.6.1 and 4.6.2, Chapter 7 of the.1995 edition);
---The expression of test results for the suspension test method has been modified (see 4.6.4, 8.2 in the.1995 edition);
---A flat-laying test method has been added (see Chapter 5);
---A winding test method has been added (see Chapter 6);
---A horizontal combustion test method has been added (see Chapter 7);
---A vertical combustion test method has been added (see Chapter 8);
---The roll test method has been added (see Chapter 9).

Flame resistance test method for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape
1 Scope
This document describes the suspension test, flat test, and wrapping test methods for determining the flame retardancy of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape (hereinafter referred to as "adhesive tape").
Methods include horizontal combustion test, vertical combustion test, and roll test.
This document applies to the determination and evaluation of the flame retardancy of adhesive tapes.
