Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 15575-1995 "steel products labeled Code."
This standard compared with GB/T 15575-1995 standards, the main changes are as follows.
--- Will be in "processing methods", "hot-rolled", "forging", "thermal expansion", "hot pressing" and "cold-rolled" cold extrusion individually labeled, and increase
The "welding" of the standard designation;
--- In the "cross-sectional shape and the symbol" added "round", "square steel" and other standard designation example;
--- Remove the "heat treatment type" designator letter T;
--- Remove the "mechanical properties" code;
--- Modify the "dimensional accuracy" marking methods;
--- In "Surface Type" increased "coating" tag code, and modify the "plating" standard designation;

This standard applies to bars, flat steel, steel pipes, wire rod and other products labeled Code.

3 steel products labeled code representation
3.1 steel products labeled with the category name code using the corresponding English name of the first letters (uppercase) and (or) a combination of Arabic numerals indicate.
3.1.1 steel products by the standard designation indicates the type and characteristics of the two parts of the tag code components.
For example. Trimming strip standard designation EC.
E --- Representative category is marginalized;
C --- representative feature of trimming.
3.1.2 can be represented using Arabic numerals as product features standard designation.
For example. Low Chilled strip marking codes H1/4.
H --- Representative category sclerosis;
1/4 --- Representative characterized by low chill.
3.1.3 Under customary and versatility, can be internationally accepted standard designation. For example, hot usable AR said control available CR rolling table
