| Summary | This standard applies to the determination of nickel in nickel slag leachate. The standard test concentration of 0. 1mg/L, measured a maximum of 4mg/L. Iron, cobalt, copper ions interfere with the determination, added Na (2)-EDTA solution, eliminate 300mg/L Fe, 100mg/L of cobalt and 50mg/L of copper, the interference of 5mg/L of nickel measured. If the content of iron, cobalt, copper concentrations in excess of the above, you can use the Dimethylglyoxime - butanol separated and removed (see Appendix A). Cyanide also interfere with the determination. Can be added 0. 5mL 2mL sodium hypochlorite solution and nitric acid in the sample before measuring the thermal decomposition of nickel cyanide complexes. |
