This standard replaces GB/T 14812-1993 "gravity heat pipe heat transfer performance test method."
This standard and GB/T 14812-1993 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- The original standard name "gravity heat transfer performance test method" was changed to "heat transfer performance test methods";
Scope --- standard from the "thermosyphon" extended to "the gravity of the tubular heat pipe, vapor chamber heat pipe, tubular heat pipes have die,
Loop heat pipe and capillary pump loop ";
--- Increasing the evaporator (district, sections) resistance, a condenser (district, sections) and thermal resistance test and calculation method of the total thermal resistance;

1 Scope
This standard specifies the test piece for heat pipe heat transfer performance and test preparation, test equipment and instrumentation, testing environmental conditions, testing and commissioning
Requirements or test results of the calculation method.
This standard applies to all kinds of tubular gravity heat pipe, vapor chamber heat pipe, tubular die has heat pipes, loop heat pipe heat transfer and capillary pump loop
Performance test, other types of heat pipes can be implemented by reference.

4.1.1 Gravity heat pipes and tubular Tubular die of heat pipes
4.1.1.1 specimens should be used with the same kind of heat pipe diameter, the same material, the same working fluid and the same production process.
4.1.1.2 Specimen length based on the actual length of the heat pipe selection, see Table 1.
4.1.1.3 filling volume error range is typically ± 5%.
4.1.1.4 Tubular die straightness heat pipe specimen should be less than 0.5mm/m, total length of the heat pipe straightness should be less than 1mm.
