1 Scope
This standard specifies the principles of the benzene carbon disulfide content determination, reagents, apparatus, sampling, test preparation, test procedures and test errors.
This standard applies to the determination of benzene content in carbon disulfide. Measurement range. content 0.0001g/100mL ~ 0.0006g/100mL
Range benzene; also suitable for use as toluene or benzene carbon disulfide content was diluted to the range of benzene.

4 Reagents
4.1 Carbon disulfide. AR.
4.2 diethylamine. HG/T 3486 AR.
4.3 Benzene. GB/T 690 AR, the absorbance is not greater than 0.005.
4.4 Toluene. GB/T 684 AR, the absorbance is not greater than 0.005.
Copper acetate 4.5. AR.
4.6 copper acetate solution. 0.03g of copper acetate was dissolved in 100mL anhydrous ethanol.
5 Instruments
5.1 Spectrophotometer. wavelength of 400nm ~ 700nm.
