This standard replaces GB/T 14087-1993 "Marine air bottles safety valve." This standard compared with GB/T 14087-1993, mainly in the following changes. a) an increase of marine air bottle valve flange connection; b) a clear bottle of marine air valve threaded connection size according to CB * 56-1983 "pipe nipple flat shoulder," the relevant provisions; c) the structure and connecting dimensions of the safety valve marine air bottles have been adjusted accordingly. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the marine air bottle valve (hereinafter referred to as a "safety valve") classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, including Loading and storage.
