This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 11175-2002 "Synthetic resin emulsion test method", compared with GB/T 11175-2002, except for structural adjustment
In addition to the overall and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added Chapter 3 (see Chapter 3);
b) Modified the description of Chapter 5 (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the.2002 edition);
c) Modified the description of the non-volatile matter determination method (see 6.2, 5.2 of the.2002 edition);
d) Modified the description of the pH measurement method (see 6.3, 5.3 of the.2002 edition);
e) Modified the description of the viscosity determination method (see 6.4, 5.4 of the.2002 edition);
f) Modified the freeze-thaw stability determination method (see 6.5, 5.5 of the.2002 edition);
g) Modified the description of the mechanical stability determination method (see 6.8, 5.8 in the.2002 edition);
h) Deleted the optical microscope method (5.9.1 of the.2002 edition);
i) Added particle size tester method (see 6.9.2);
j) Modified the method description of the minimum film forming temperature (see 6.11, 5.11 of the.2002 edition);
k) Modified the coarse particle measurement method (see 6.12, 5.12 of the.2002 edition).

1 Scope
This document specifies the test items, test general rules and test methods for synthetic resin emulsions.
This document is applicable to synthetic resin emulsions such as polyvinyl acetate emulsion, polyacrylate emulsion and vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion.
