The State Administration for Standardization issued a statement.
Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 11147-2010 "Asphalt Sampling Method". Compared with GB/T 11147-2010, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes.
Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The following items have been removed. routine inspection sampling quantity (see 4.1.1 in the.2010 edition), sampling quantity from storage tanks (see 4.1.2 in the.2010 edition), and sampling quantity from drums.
Medium sampling size (see 4.1.3 in the.2010 edition);
b) Increased the sample size of liquid asphalt (see 5.1);
c) The "Amount of solid or semi-solid samples" has been changed (see 5.2, 4.2 in the.2010 edition);
d) The requirement for wide-mouthed sample containers has been removed from the list of sample container types (see 5.1.1, 5.1.2, and 5.1.3 in the.2010 edition);
e) Added relevant content on the under-tank sampler method (see 7.1.2.4);
f) Added a requirement that the detachable online sampling device take samples when the material has been discharged to approximately half its original volume (see 7.2.2);
g) The references to the sampling of fragmented or powdered asphalt have been removed (see 6.6.1 and 6.6.2 in the.2010 edition), and detailed sampling procedures have been added.
Procedure (see 7.6.1, 7.6.2);
h) The requirement that all labeling materials must be stored at temperatures above.200°C has been removed (see section 7.6 of the.2010 edition);
i) The information content of the sample label has been increased (see 8.7).

The release history of this document and the document it replaces is as follows.
---First published in 1989 as GB/T 11147-1989, and revised for the first time in.2010;
---This is the second revision.
Introduction
Large quantities of different types and grades of asphalt materials are transported and stored alternately in the same container, which may cause these containers to become contaminated with residues and sediment.
The document addresses the issues of residue buildup and cleaning solvent contamination. It is intended to resolve these problems for asphalt producers, transporters, users, and samplers.
This method is used when sampling and processing these materials. Sampling according to this method yields samples that accurately reflect the true properties and condition of the materials, to the greatest extent possible.
This method accurately represents the average performance of the sampled materials, thereby effectively avoiding quality disputes caused by sampling issues.

Safety and protective measures.
1 Scope
This document describes the sampling methods for bituminous materials at production, storage, or delivery sites.
This document applies to the sampling of asphalt materials at the production, storage, or delivery sites.
2 Normative references
This document has no normative references.
3 Terms and Definitions
This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.
4.Sampling Location Selection
To check the quality of asphalt, samples should be taken at the production plant or storage location before shipment; if sampling cannot be taken at the production plant or storage location, samples should be taken at the delivery location.
Sampling is performed at regular intervals.
5.Sample size
5.1 Sample Quantity of Liquid Asphalt
The sampling volume for liquid asphalt is 1L to 4L (4L for emulsified asphalt).
5.2 Amount of solid or semi-solid sample
5.2.1 The sampling amount of semi-solid or unbroken solid asphalt is 4 kg.
5.2.2 The sampling amount for broken or powdered asphalt is 1kg to 2kg.
6 Sample container
6.1 Types of Sample Containers
6.1.1 The containers for liquid asphalt (excluding emulsified asphalt) or semi-solid asphalt should preferably be metal containers with sealed lids.
6.1.2 The emulsified asphalt sample container should preferably be a plastic container with a sealed lid.
6.1.3 The container for crushed or powdered asphalt should preferably be a metal container with a sealed lid; a plastic bag may also be used, provided that the plastic bag has a reliable outer cover.
