The release history of this document and the document it replaces is as follows.
---First published in 1989 as GB/T 10801-1989;
---First revised in.2002, GB/T 10801 was divided into two parts; this document is numbered GB/T 10801.2-
Second revision in.2002 and.2018;
---This is the third revision.
Introduction
GB/T 10801 is proposed to consist of two parts.
---Molded polystyrene foam (EPS) for thermal insulation (GB/T 10801.1). The purpose is to specify the type of molded polystyrene foam for thermal insulation.
Classification and technical requirements of EPS (expanded polystyrene).
---Extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) for thermal insulation (GB/T 10801.2). The purpose is to specify the type of extruded polystyrene foam for thermal insulation.
Classification and technical requirements of polystyrene foam (XPS).
This document is Part 2 of GB/T 10801.Unlike other parts which cover polystyrene foam for thermal insulation, this document applies to general-purpose polystyrene foam.
Polystyrene foam plastic with a closed-cell structure is obtained by extrusion and foaming.
Extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) for thermal insulation
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking, labeling, instructions for use, and packaging of extruded polystyrene foam for thermal insulation.
The loading, transportation, and storage of the equipment are described, along with the corresponding testing methods.
This document applies to extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) for thermal insulation applications at temperatures not exceeding 75°C, including both with and without a skin.
Production, inspection, and treatment of extruded polystyrene foam with skin, extruded polystyrene foam with special edge structures and surface treatments.
Sales also include the production, inspection, and sales of extruded polystyrene foam plastics modified with additives such as graphite.
This document applies to extruded polystyrene foam insulation materials used in precast components, radiant floor heating systems, and composite insulation systems.
Production, inspection and sales.
