3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Single-phase AC powered appliances used by non-professionals in homes, residences and similar places (such as shops, light industry and farms, etc.)
Electrical appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V and other appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480V.
