This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB 24407-2012 "Safety Technical Conditions for Dedicated School Buses". Compared with GB 24407-2012, the main differences are in structural adjustments and compilation.
Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---The definitions of the terms "dedicated school bus," "school bus for preschoolers," "school bus for primary school students," "school bus for primary and secondary school students," and "passengers" have been changed.
(See 3.1, 3.1.1~3.1.3, 3.3, and 3.1~3.4 and 3.12 in the.2012 edition);
---The terms "exit," "emergency exit," "emergency door," "emergency window," "evacuation hatch," and "'fore' and 'aft'" have been removed (see.2012 edition).

---The term "vehicle operating condition quality" has been added (see 3.4);
---The requirements for the exterior markings of dedicated school buses have been changed (see 5.1.1,.2012 version of 5.1.1);
