This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GA/T 985-2012 "Method for Extraction of Three-dimensional Traces from Plaster Molds in Forensic Science" and is consistent with GA/T 985-2012.
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Changed the term "three-dimensional trace plaster molding extraction method" and its definition (see 3.2, 3.2 of the.2012 version);
---Added cleaning debris (see 5.1);
---Added record trace related information (see 5.7);
---Added plaster trace model making method on tilted objects (see 6.5).

1 Scope
This document describes the extraction method for three-dimensional trace plaster casts.
This document is suitable for plaster molding extraction of three-dimensional traces at the scene of various cases (incidents).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
