3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Image sampling imagesampling
Continuous image signal is converted into digital image coordinate values is called sampling. Each coordinate point is called a sampling point.
3.2
Image resampling imageresampling
To know when the value of the original image is not located on the sampling points, the need for interpolation, a process known as image resampling. Image
Scaling, rotation and other geometric transformation operation will have a re-sampling process. Resampling main feature is the relationship between the values of adjacent pixels, if
There are different areas of the image different resampling process, it may exist between different types of pixel relations.
3.3
Upsampling, downsampling upsampling, downsampling
Resampling the sampling density of the sample is divided into upper and lower sampling. the sample is (also called oversampling) sampling density higher than the original coordinates, sampling
For the next sampling (also known as the down-sampling, sub-sampling) at a density lower than the original coordinates. On the corresponding image to enlarge sampling, down-sampling the corresponding image reduction.
4 Equipment
4.1 image analysis system and inspection
4.1.1 can open at least BMP, TIFF, JPEG three general format digital images, can open a video file of standard AVI format
And convert video to continuous still images.
4.1.2 capable of a resolution of 128dpi × 128dpi image than the standard test set detected resampling characteristics.
4.1.3 can be re-sampled and stored in the form of characteristic performance values or map.
4.1.4 provide resampling feature differences between standard.
