| Summary | This standard specifies the methods and devices for the continuous production of simulated flammable gases in the fire scene. This standard is applicable to the assessment of the toxicological risk of tobacco smoke and the analysis of the relevant toxicants. This standard does not apply to actual fire scene simulation of flue gas temperature simulation and actual fire scene evolution process simulation. |

Foreword
This standard is based on the results obtained in China's material flue gas preparation methodology and the practice of tobacco toxicity evaluation and composition analysis.
For the test, refer to the ISO Technical Report ISO TR9122-4 (1993-05-15) "Fire Flow Toxicity Test Part IV. Fire Model
(furnace and combustion unit for small-scale trials)" was developed.
The purpose of formulating the "method for the production of flue gas in fire scenes of materials" is to meet the toxicity assessment of materials burning smoke and the danger of fire toxicity.
The need for risk prediction.
Appendix A of this standard is an informative annex.
This standard was proposed by the Fire Department of the Ministry of Public Security.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Seventh Subcommittee of the National Fire Protection Standardization Technical Committee.
This standard was drafted. Sichuan Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security.
The main drafters of this standard. Li Bangchang, Zhang Yu, Liu Lin.
Material fire scene flue gas preparation method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method and device for continuously producing toxic fumes from simulated fire scenes.
This standard is applicable to the toxicity assessment of materials and the analysis of related toxicological components.
This standard does not apply to the simulation of the smoke temperature of the actual fire scene and the evolution of the actual fire scene.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Refers to a certain space in the fire scene, the state of the ambient atmosphere polluted by smoke. Different fire scenes or different fire local spaces, in
Different fire scene atmospheres may be presented at different times.
3.2
Refers to the state of the smoke generated by the material in a certain fire scene atmosphere. It is a mixture of smoke and ambient air produced by the material.
Gas (flow).
3.3
A parameter reflecting the relationship between the flue gas and the material quality of the fire scene of the material, that is, the mass of the tobacco-producing material contained in the unit space,
Mg/L.
3.4
Refers to the percentage of the mass of material entering the space during the production of smoke relative to the total mass of the material. It is a reflection of the thermal decomposition or burning of materials
The parameter of the degree of burning.
3.5
The maximum or near maximum smoke yield of the material.
