Introduction
The Kunming Dog is a working dog breed bred by the Kunming Police Dog Base of the Ministry of Public Security. It has been bred through group succession breeding since the 1950s.
In the early days of breeding, it was called "Chinese Kunming Wolf Breed Dog". In April 1988, the Ministry of Public Security designated it as
Named "China Kunming Dog", it passed the breed approval of the National Animal Genetic Resources Committee in.2007 and was officially named "Kunming Dog".
It is a large dog with a slightly square body shape, compact structure and short hair. It has a keen sense of smell, fierce bite and strong adaptability. It is suitable for plateaus.
The Kunming dog has strong adaptability to climate, severe cold environment and high temperature. It is widely used in public security, army, armed police, customs, emergency rescue, enterprises, etc.
The working dog industry has expanded overseas.

The quality of the dog's body.

Body size
The length, width, height and girth values obtained by measuring specific parts of the dog's body.

The vertical distance from the top of the withers to the ground.

The straight-line distance from the most anterior edge of the shoulder to the posterior edge of the ischial tuberosity.

The circumference of the chest at the posterior edge of the scapula.

The greatest distance between the posterior edge of the scapula and the lower edge of the sternum.
