Testing of chloral hydrate in forensic biological materials
Headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
1 Scope
This document specifies the headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS/MS) of chloral hydrate in biological samples (blood, urine, liver) in the field of forensic science.
GC-MS) testing method.
This document is applicable to the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of chloral hydrate in biological test materials (blood, urine, liver) in the field of forensic science. other

GB/T 6682 Specifications and test methods for water used in analytical laboratories
GA/T 122 Toxicological analysis terminology
3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GA/T 122 apply to this document.
4 Principles
Use blank samples and added samples as controls, and add acid and heat treatment to biological test materials (blood, urine, liver) according to the requirements of parallel operations.
Headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is used for detection, with retention time, mass spectrum characteristic ions and ion abundance ratio as the basis for qualitative judgment; chromatographic peaks are used as the basis for qualitative judgment.
The area was used as the quantitative basis, and the external standard-single point correction method was used for quantitative analysis.
5 Reagents and materials
5.1 Reagents
The experimental water should comply with the third-grade water specified in GB/T 6682.Unless otherwise stated, the reagents used in the analysis were of analytical grade.
Reagents include.
a) 6.0mol/L phosphoric acid solution (taking 100mL as an example). weigh 69.2g concentrated phosphoric acid (mass fraction 85%) and dilute with water
Dilute the volume to 100mL and mix well;
b) Standard working solution. After converting according to the purity of chloral hydrate, weigh an appropriate amount and prepare it with 6.0mol/L phosphoric acid solution to 0.1mg/
mL of standard working solution, ready for use.
5.2 Materials
