1 Scope
This standard specifies the yarn twist tester basic functions and requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to direct counting method, untwisting the twisted yarn twist twist measurement instrument.
This standard does not apply to hand-twist yarns instrument.

3 Basic functions and parameters
3.1 can meet the basic functions of direct counting twisting and untwisting counting method.
3.2 holder can rotate forward and reverse rotation, speed adjustable and stable, and has a forward and reverse slow jog function.
3.3 has a zero return from the stop function.
3.4 has an adjustable tension feature.
3.5 has a level indicator.
3.6 Basic parameters.
a) the sample length. 10mm, 25mm, 50mm, 100mm, 250mm, 500mm;
b) twist count display range. Minimum 0.1 Maximum 9999.9;
