1 Scope

This standard specifies the main parameters and technological process, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of mercerizing machines. This standard applies to the soda mercerizing process of pure cotton and cotton, linen, and chemical fiber blended open-width fabrics, so that the fabric achieves a stable width and better luster.
