Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces FZ/T 60008-1992 "Test Method for Non-recoverable Elongation of Blankets", which is the main technology compared with FZ/T 60008-1992
The surgical changes are as follows.
--- Modified the scope of application;
--- Modified the name of the normative reference file;
--- Modified the precision requirements of the constant velocity elongation tensile testing machine;
--- Modified the standard atmosphere for humidity control and testing;
--- Modified the operating procedures;
--- Combine the contents of the original standards 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 into 7.2;
--- Deleted the calculation formula of non-retractable elongation L;
--- Adjust the content of Chapter 10 of the original standard to Chapter 8 and Chapter 9;
--- Removed Appendix B.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the non-retractable elongation of felt.
This standard applies to woven blankets, other wool woven fabrics can be implemented by reference.

3 Principle
The sample is stretched to the specified load at an equal speed, and then returned to the starting point at the same speed. This is repeated three times.
Under load conditions, after a certain period of time, the length is measured and compared with the original length to obtain the degree of non-recoverable elongation.
4 Equipment and supplies
The test equipment and supplies shall meet the following requirements.
a) Constant speed elongation (CRE) tensile testing machine.
1) The test machine must have a load setting automatic stop device, the gripper stretching and returning speed is 500mm/min, and the accuracy is ± 2%.
2) Clamp. The clamping surface of the testing machine should be 75mm × 25mm, the jaw line of the clamp should be perpendicular to the tension line, and the clamping surface should be flat

5 Atmosphere for humidity control and testing
The atmosphere for pre-conditioning, humidity adjustment and testing shall be implemented in accordance with the standard atmospheric regulations in GB/T 6529.
6 Sampling
The samples are collected according to the sampling method specified in the product standard or the method agreed by the relevant parties.
