1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification, designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of electric power industry wear-resistant pipes. This standard is applicable to the wear-resistant pipes conveying such materials as pulverized coal, coal ash (coal cinder), limestone powder, gypsum slurry, etc.; other pipes with wear-resistant requirements may refer to this standard.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Delivery inspection 7.1.1 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation, chemical component and inner pipe wall hardness of metallic wear-resistant pipe and wear resistant white cast iron bi-metallic composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.2 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation, chemical component and inner pipe wall hardness of inner wall hardening alloy steel wear-resistant pipe and bi-metallic inner pipe hardening alloy steel composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.3 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation, chemical component and inner pipe wall hardness of surfacing composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.4 Quality of the outer and inner surfaces, dimensional deviation and lining ceramic hardness of ceramic composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.5 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation and lining rubber hardness of rubber composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.6 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation and volume density of lining material of high-temperature wear-resistant lining composite pipe. 7.1.7 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation and lining cast stone hardness of cast stone composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.8 Quality of the inner and outer surfaces, dimensional deviation and lining silicon carbide hardness of silicon carbide composite wear-resistant pipe. 7.1.9 The wear-resistant pipes can only be delivered after passing the inspection by the quality inspection department of manufacturer and being issued with conformity certificate and quality certificate. 7.2 Acceptance inspection While accepting the wear-resistant pipe, the user shall carry out acceptance inspection on the quality of such pipe item-by item according to relevant requirement of this standard. 7.3 Type inspection 7.3.1 Type inspection items are the whole items in this standard. Type inspection shall be carried out under one of the following conditions: a) Upon trial production of new products; b) Where the product design, production process or raw material has significant change; c) Where the production is resumed after shut down for more than one year; d) Where there is relatively large difference between the delivery inspection result and 14 the last type inspection result; e) Where type inspection is required by the state quality and technology supervision and inspection organization. 7.3.2 Type inspection samples shall be randomly taken from products in finished product warehouse passing delivery inspection and the sampling number should not be less than 3 pieces; if any inspection result is rejected, it is allowed to sample doubly from the same batch of products for re-inspection; if it is still rejected, this inspection items is judged as rejected.

8 Marking, Packaging, Storage and Transportation

8.1 Marking and conformity certificate 8.1.1 Each wear-resistant pipe shall be marked with: a) Name and trademark of manufacturer; b) Name and No. of product; c) Product specification; d) Medium flow direction; e) Production date; f) Drop resistance warning mark. 8.1.2 Each batch of wear-resistant pipes shall be accompanied with product instructions and product certificate (quality certificate) for delivery; the contents on product certificate are: a) Product name; b) Specification and quantity of product; c) No. and name of this standard adopted by the product; d) Designation of wear-resistant pipe; e) Sales contract No.; f) Product quality inspection result as well as seals of the inspector and inspection department; g) Name and address of manufacturer. 8.2 Packaging, storage and transportation 8.2.1 Outer surface of wear-resistant pipe shall be subject to anti-corrosion treatment. 8.2.2 Wear-resistant pipes should be bundled and packed properly with straw mat, straw rope, straw bag, wooden case, tray, frame, steel hoop or elastic material. 8.2.3 The storage yard of wear-resistant pipes should be flat, smooth, dry and ventilated, the pipes should be arranged neatly and be avoided from rustiness, bump, deformation and damage; both ends of pipeline should be sealed where necessary. 8.2.4 During the loading, unloading, lifting, transportation, installation and overhaul processes, wear-resistant pipes shall be handled gently and shall not be subject to severe collision, toss, drop and knock.
