This standard applies to indicating the position of the implant body in the jawbone. It does not by itself indicate whether the device is visible in the oral cavity, whether there is a transmucosal part or whether there is an implant restoration. Since this system describes the position rather than the form of restoration, the quadrant numbers 5-8 used in primary dentition are not used. This information should be recorded in the patient file by the appropriate clinician and provided to the patient by the clinician providing care. |

Introduction
Dental implant treatment has emerged as a feasible and extensive treatment technology, and has demanded its labeling system, which is used for
Indicates the presence and location of such instruments in the jawbone, and the system is compatible with existing systems. Dental implants do not have the characteristics of individual teeth,
It is obtained through its supporting restorations. Therefore, the implant body can be described as a location with an implied crown shape.
Instead, specific teeth have a fixed shape and position. In both cases, this information can be supplemented in the form of additional notes.
For treatment, trauma, or social reasons, various instruments can be implanted in or around the jaw, many of which are not internal bone teeth
Implant. Given that these make up most of the implants in the oral and maxillofacial region, and the industry is in dire need of a marked implant
And location standard methods, so a system has been established to meet this need. Since potential benefits are currently being obtained,
Other types of implants and other methods of marking the location will complicate the system, but do not rule out the possibility of doing so in the future.
Dental implant labeling system
1 Scope
This standard specifies a system to indicate the position of the implant body in the jawbone, and it is used with the system described in ISO 3950.
This standard applies to indicating the position of the implant body in the jaw.It does not itself indicate whether the device is visible in the mouth, and whether there is a penetrating device.
Part of the mucosa or whether there is an implant restoration. Because this system describes location rather than prosthetic form, it is not necessary to use it in deciduous teeth
The number used to represent the quadrant is 5-8.
This information should be recorded in the patient file by the appropriate clinician and provided to the patient by the clinician who provides care.

4 Classification, labelling and coding
This system uses three characters to indicate the position of each implant body.
System. In all cases, the following sequence should be used.
--- The first character. a number in the range of 1 ~ 4, which is used to indicate the upper right quadrant and upper left quadrant of the implant in the mouth,
Lower left quadrant or lower right quadrant.
Note. Because this system describes the position rather than the restoration form, it is not necessary to use the numbers 5 ~ 8 to represent the quadrants used in deciduous teeth.
--- The second character is a number in the range of 1 ~ 8, which indicates the position of the implant body in the limited quadrant.
The way the natural tooth position is marked is similar.
--- The third character. the presence of the implant body with the character "", located at the position indicated by the first and second characters, and
The teeth at this location correspond.
There should be no spaces or punctuation between the characters, for example, 36 means that the dental implant body is located in the first molar area of the left lower jaw.
