This document replaces YY/T 0967.1-2015 "Dental Rotary Instrument Rod Part 1.Metal Rod", YY/T 0967.2-2015 "Dental Rotary Instrument Rod Part 2.Plastic Rod", YY/T 0967.3-2016 "Dental Rotary Instrument Rod Part 3.Ceramic Rod". This document specifies the dimensions and material property requirements for the rods of dental rotary and reciprocating instruments and the measurement methods to verify these requirements and information identifying the location. This document does not apply to tips that are threaded onto the handpiece, such as scaler tips.
