This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces YY 1070-2008 "dental base/model wax" and YY 0496-2004 "dental casting wax". And YY 1070-
2008 and YY 0496-2004 compared to the main technical differences are as follows.
Including YY 1070-2008 "dental base/model wax" (ISO 12163..1999, IDT) and YY 0496-2004 "teeth
(ISO 1561..1995, MOD).
This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 15854..2005 "Dental Casting Wax and Kita Wax".
