1 Scope

This section YS/T 981 specifies the method for determination of high-purity indium thallium content. This section applies to the determination of 99.9999% purity Indium thallium content. Determination range 5 × 10-5% ~ 3 × 10-4%.

2 Method summary

After the sample was decomposed by the hydrobromide, in 1.7mol/L hydrogen bromide and extracted with isopropyl ether thallium with rhodamine B color. 3 Reagents

3.1 Part of the water is deionized water, resistivity greater than 18MΩ · cm. 3.2 hydrobromic acid (8.5mol/L). used after distillation. 3.3 isopropyl ether, chemically pure. This solution containing thallium 2μg/mL.

5 Determination
