1 Scope
This section YS/T 807 specifies the method for determination of aluminum alloy with antimony content.
This section applies to the determination of aluminum alloy with antimony content. Measuring range. 1.00% to 5.00%.
2 Method summary
Sample with sodium hydroxide dissolved in sulfuric acid medium with copper thiourea, ascorbic acid masking iron, potassium iodide color, spectrophotometer
Measured at a wavelength of 420nm absorbance.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only the gifted class pure reagents and sub-boiling distilled water or potassium.
3.1 aluminum (≥99.97%, non-antimony).
3.2 sulfate (ρ = 1.84g/mL).
3.3 sulfuric acid (2.6 1).
3.4 potassium iodide solution (550g/L).
3.5 Sodium hydroxide solution (400g/L).
3.6 ascorbic acid solution (150g/L, the time is now equipped with).
3.7 thiourea solution (50g/L).
3.8 Antimony standard solution. Weigh 0.1000g metallic antimony powder (≥99.99%) in 100mL beaker, add 25mL sulfuric acid (3.2), plus
Heat to dissolve, to be dissolved completely, with sulfuric acid (3.3) transferred to 500mL volumetric flask, sulfuric acid (3.3) diluted to the mark, and mix. This solution
1mL containing 0.2mg antimony.
