1 Scope
This section YS/T 807 specifies the method for determination of aluminum alloy with zirconium content.
This section applies to the determination of aluminum alloy with zirconium content. Measuring range. 2.5% to 18.0%.
2 Method summary
Samples with hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide dissolved in acid medium, the role of zirconium and EDTA to form a stable complex reaction quantitatively.
With methyl thymol blue indicator, boiled in 0.8mol/L ~ 1.5mol/L HCl medium and hot titrated.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only the gifted class pure reagents and sub-boiling distilled water or potassium.
3.1 Hydrogen peroxide (ρ = 1.10g/mL).
3.2 hydrochloric acid (ρ = 1.19g/mL).
3.3 hydrochloride (11).
3.4 stannous chloride solution (100g/L). Weigh 5g stannous chloride in 250mL beaker, add 15mL of hydrochloric acid (3.2), micro Rerong
Diluted solution was cooled with water to 50mL, using now.
3.5 methyl thymol blue indicator. 1g methyl thymol blue indicator and 100g sodium chloride mixed and ground into a powder, stored in brown mill
Jar.
3.6 mandelic acid solution (150g/L), filtered use.
3.7 mandelic acid washing solution. 1000mL 20mL aqueous solution containing hydrochloric acid (3.2) and 50g mandelic acid. Use filtered.
3.8 Zirconium standard solution (2mg/mL).
3.8.1 preparation. Weigh 3.53g of zirconium oxychloride (ZrOCl2 · 8H2O) into 400mL beaker was added 100mL of water and 50mL
Hydrochloric acid (3.3) was dissolved and transferred to 500mL volumetric flask, dilute with water to volume, and mix. 1mL solution containing 2mg zirconium.
3.8.2 Calibration. Pipette 25.00mL zirconium standard solution (3.8.1) in 300mL beaker, was added 30mL of hydrochloric acid (3.2), heated to near
Boiling, add 50mL mandelic acid solution (3.6), stir, placed in a thermostatic water bath 80 ℃, the heat for 30min, then cooled. use
Medium-speed filter paper, washed with mandelic acid solution (3.7) Wash the beaker, all transferred to the precipitate on the filter paper with mandelic acid washing solution (3.7)
The precipitate was washed 6-8 times, and the filter paper and precipitate constant weight has been placed in a platinum crucible, drying, ashing, and then placed in a furnace at 1000 ℃ burning 2h ~
3h, removed, placed in the dryer to cool after 30min weighed.
3.8.3 Calculation. according to formula (1) calculate the mass concentration of the zirconium standard solution.
