1 Scope
YS/T in this part 807 specifies the method for determination of aluminum alloy with potassium content.
This section applies to the determination of aluminum alloy with potassium content. Determination range of 0.0050% to 1.00%.
2 Method summary
A specimen in a hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide was dissolved, was added as CsCl ionization inhibitor, using air - acetylene flame, flame atomic absorption spectrometry
Wavelength 766.5nm at measuring the absorbance of potassium.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only the gifted class pure reagents and sub-boiling distilled water or potassium.
3.1 aluminum (≥99.99%, no potassium).
3.2 hydrochloric acid (11), high-purity reagents BVⅢ level.
3.3 Hydrogen peroxide (ρ = 1.10g/mL), pure class distinctions.
3.4 cesium chloride solution (25g/L). Weigh 2.5g of cesium chloride (high purity), was dissolved in 100mL of water, and mix.
3.5 aluminum solution (20mg/mL). Weigh 20.000g aluminum (3.1) placed in 500mL Teflon beaker, covered table dish, plus graded

4 Instrument
Atomic absorption spectrometer, with a potassium hollow cathode lamp.
Under optimum working conditions for those who can reach the following indicators can be used.
--- Sensitivity. consistent with the measurement sample solution matrix solution features potassium concentration should not exceed 0.5μg/mL.
--- Precision. standard solution with the highest concentration of 10 times the absorbance measurements, the standard deviation should not exceed the average absorbance of 1.0%;
