1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of aluminum in industrial waste water caustic alkalinity.
This standard applies to industrial waste alumina caustic alkalinity measurement, measurement range. 50mg/L ~ 1000mg/L.

5 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
5.1 Sodium carbonate. reference reagents.
5.2 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
5.3 carbon dioxide-free water. boil water 15min, cooled to room temperature and stand, now with the current preparation.
5.4 Ethanol (anhydrous).
5.5 barium chloride solution (50g/L).
5.6 sodium salicylate (50g/L).
5.7 phenolphthalein indicator (10g/L). Weigh 1.0g of phenolphthalein was dissolved in 50mL of ethanol (5.4), diluted with water to 100mL, and mix.
